Mobility has become a keyword in our modern world -a keyword which refers to all possible types of movement. We seldom use it to refer to the ability we have to move under our own steam and yet this ability gives us an incalculable degree of flexibility, enabling us to travel ever-increasing distances in our everyday lives.
For disabled people even short distances frequently present an impossible obstacle. Because their mobility is often very restricted, they cannot cover short distances without extra help. This extra help can be in the form of another person. Or a well-designed walking-aid. This aid enables you to be as mobile outdoors as you are indoors - and brings those unattainable goals within reach again.
